Graphics and Animation Effects with CSS3 3D, jQuery, and WebGL
by Oswald Campesato, Oswald is primarily involved in HTML5 and mobile development, and he has a passion for graphics-related technologies.
The first part of this session starts with a demo of a "Flying Borg Cube" using pure CSS3, followed by demos that combine jQuery and CSS3 3D. The second part starts with a demo of CSS Shaders (using a special Adobe build of WebKit), followed by demos of WebGL using the Three.js toolkit. The demos will be shown on various devices, including a Macbook, an Asus Prime 10" ICS tablet, an iPad3, and a Nexus S 4G (Android ICS). We'll also delve into the code of some of the demos, and then we'll wrap up with a book raffle if the publisher gets me book copies in time for this event.
